great for post surgery

Excellent relief for post knee surgery, longer lasting, with constant cooling and easier to keep in place than ice packs. Only glitch is the outer cord of actual ice machine developed a small split from having to bend below the connection, that will slowly grow with time. We bought a new pad but are renting the machine, so i don't know how old the rubber is or when the split first developed. We just put scotch tape on it to prevent further tearing, rather than electrical tape as we didn't want to get hard to remove adhesive on the rental cord. Some kind of sheathing to keep the blue tubes straight near the connection would probably protect it.

I'm thankful for the excellent response, my order fulfillment, and the quality product. Works perfectly!

Decent, but not good.

I've used the knee version of these pads and that one was great.

This hip version unfortunately is not as great. Depending on how you use it, there is a good chance you can crease the water channels and that stops the flow of cold water which can result in warm spots on the pad.

For this product I would recommend the knee version, but not the hip version.
