If you’re serious about reducing narcotics and have a serious surgery, but it.
I wish they’d make an attachment for restless legs. If they’re reading these reviews, hope it’ll put a bug in their ear.
This is an awesome system. I had a motorcycle accident and completely blew my knee(ACL,MCL,meniscus). Was having to ice due to extreme swelling. Friends had the Cube and loaned it to me, At first we were adding ice every morning that would last through the day. Then upon researching learned about the refillable bags. We did some thinking and noticed that 4-16.9oz bottles of water frozen fit perfectly. I purchased the Wave system because of the compression feature. Having surgery this week and this thing has been a God send. It will surely help me heal from this horrible situation.
The combination of really good ice water therapy and variable air compression can't be beat. The wrap-on pad is another. I just had total knee replacement surgery and will have the other done in about 3 months. I had purchased another ice machine with an inferior wrap-on pad. The people or store I purchased it from really didn't know enough to help me with the right choice. I should have walked away. Live and learn. While looking for a Breg for sale, I found this website. Now I have the Breg Cold Compression Therapy system with a large knee wrap and I have a much better replacement pad for my DonJoy ice machine. At my age, I'm not going to kid myself that this will be my last bout with needing ice therapy. there are some good options for the rest of my body as well. I hope this company stays in business because they make it easy to consider my needs and get going. Thanks again to Breg, DonJoy and My Cold Therapy.
Purchased to use after knee replacement surgery. Thank goodness I purchased it…no mess, completely portable and the combo of cold and compression has minimized swelling. Love it!
My daughter recently had ACL surgery and we were recommended this cold therapy system by a friend. We didn’t get it right away thinking she didn’t really need it but after about 4 weeks we ended up purchasing it. It’s been super helpful for her as she pushes herself in physical therapy or just day to day to help with soreness and swelling. Definitely worth it and my only regret is not getting it sooner. We also bought the bags as she will be taking it with her to college and won’t have access to a bunch of ice each day- but she can freeze the bags in her dorm-size fridge/freezer. The cord is long enough that she can use it easily on a couch or even on her bed.
