Recently, the team at My Cold Therapy did a training on how to operate the control panel of the Omni Ice Pulse Compression System. This step-by-step guide will show you how to master the device and make the most of its various settings for your recovery.
Powering On the Omni Ice Pulse Compression System
To begin using the Omni Ice Pulse Compression System, turn the unit on by holding down the power button for 3 seconds. The welcome screen will appear, signaling that the device is ready for operation.
Adjusting Compression Settings and Treatment Times
The Omni Ice system offers three compression settings and three different treatment times. To adjust these:
- Use the plus button to navigate through the options.
- Press the plus button once to set the treatment time to 20 minutes.
- Press it again to set the treatment time to 40 minutes.
- Press it one more time to set the treatment time to 60 minutes.
You will notice that as you adjust the treatment time, the compression setting also changes.
- The compression setting starts at low.
- Press the plus button to move to middle compression.
- Press it once more to reach high compression.
Continue adjusting until you find your preferred combination of compression and treatment time.
Fine-Tuning Settings with the Minus Button
If you want to decrease the settings, use the minus button:
- Press it to return to the previous compression or treatment setting.
- You can adjust the settings to your desired combination of middle compression for 60 minutes, middle compression for 40 minutes, or middle compression for 20 minutes.
Starting the Treatment
Once you’ve selected your desired settings, press the start button (play button) to begin treatment. The machine will operate for the set treatment time, which is displayed on the screen.
Pausing or Stopping the Treatment
If you need to pause the treatment, simply press the start button again, and the machine will stop. To turn off the machine once the treatment is complete, hold down the power button for 3 seconds. The screen will display "bye-bye," signaling that the machine has powered down.
