I had total knee replacement surgery in January 2 of this year. I was using different forms of icing bags, but they didn’t seem to be getting the job done. The Donjoy ice man is a welcome edition and I wish I would’ve ordered it way sooner.
I love these!! They stay cool a long time (more if your wearing a brace under it).. I use them after exercising and my bad knee feels amazing as it cools down.. highly recommend them!!
While we haven't tried the omni yet, we are very impressed with the company's customer service. I called and spoke to Angela for quite awhile. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and did not rush me. We received everything quickly. It was packaged well. Looking forward to setting it up and hoping for positive results!
Borrowed the ice machine from a friend. Pad still worked but stretched out and I wanted to return it in better condition as a thank you.
This shoulder pad is a must for Rotator cuff surgery. It works amazing to reduce inflammation and pain. I couldn’t imagine going through this surgery without this pad. Fits great, keeps everything around the shoulder cold, can’t put it on alone (yet) but can remove it without help. Super easy!
I bought my iceman after knee surgery & I couldn’t be happier.
I initially bought a different brand ice machine from here back in my initial TKR surgery. I had lost that machine in a move and bought the Donjoy classic from my doctor who did the repair to my TKR a couple years later. When. I purchased the attachment for my should they immediately called to double check I ordered the correct one. After confirming, it shipped same day and It arrived very quickly. It has been very helpful in providing some relief.for my torn rotator cuff and labrum.
Just what was needed and seems to be better than the ones that came with the unit.
I have had knee surgery and another knee that needs it. I had some of the packs from a few years ago and they worked better than any other ice packs I have ever used. So I set out to find more and here I am!!

We lost the cord to our therapy ice machine and this was the perfect replacement.
I purchased the DonJoy Iceman for my wife for her TKR surgery.
It was delivered quickly and my wife has been using it daily since the surgery.
I also purchased the ice bags which is a great idea. I freeze all 12 bags and can rotate them to keep the water cold.
One recommendation I would make is for knee replacement surgery order the universal pad because that also covers the knee cap.
When I was purchasing the unit I just ordered the knee wrap but discovered later that the universal one is better for TKR.
I’m hoping that the unit has some longevity because I will be having the same procedure the end of June and my wife will be having her other knee replaced in the fall.

These are a must have to aid in emptying water out of the pads and the hose of the cooler unit.
Wish I had tried this a long time ago. I have arthritis in both hands centered at the base of the thumbs, and had been managing the pain with different rubs. Using this pad, it takes care of the pain for more than a week. No rubs, no mess, and no medicine in my eyes at night.
Super helpful. I have a collapsed hip (at age 32) and it was super hard to fall asleep, let alone stay asleep. Getting this attachment has changed that. Even when on just the compression w/o ice. I am able to actually sit comfortably for a little before laying down. I fall asleep with it on, and STAY asleep. When I wake up, I, and my hip feel much better and have less pain...until I start my day- and restart the whole process-haha)
The to be honest part: I was trying to use the knee attachment originally, but it didn't help. Getting the hip attachment was worth it, and a great decision.
Absolutely love this unit. With the battery pack is definitely the way to go so you can carry it around with the machine still running. I’m telling a lot of people about the Kodiak.
I have had a great experience purchasing this machine through "My Cold Therapy" It started with a nice website with lots of information and the How To Use videos are perfect. The machine itself is simple, great size, and works super.
Using and alternating these bags is so convenient vs. having to use ice cubes. They fill easily, they stand up and don't leak. They don't take up much room in the freezer either. I highly recommend using these!
You don’t even have to take it out of the bag to use it. Is a great travel bag and very useful and easy to pack things in.
