I received my brace and I did another another one the next size up. Went by the dimensions and medium was just to snug. Overall great brace, feels good even though it's to snug and arrived quickly.

My buddy loaned me his from his knee replacement about a year ago. WOW! what a game changer! My wife, who has been a nurse for years, said "oh yeah, we use those at the hospital all the time." And she never said anything??!!! Why you keeping important secrets to yourself??
We now own 2 of these! Hers and His, she needs both knees replaced too.
So why only 4 stars? 1. the reason we chose the Kodiak is it can be operated portably...... with a battery pack (sold separately and not well advertised). 2. the battery pack uses 4 AA batteries and only lasts for 8 to 10 hours. Not rechargeable and that's a lot of batteries!
3. you usually need more ice than most icemakers can produce. We got the cute little bags that can be filled and frozen. only 3 at a time fit inside for use, very weak and lame. Found out the 4 16 oz frozen water bottles trick on line, that's the move! 4 16 oz frozen water bottles fit inside at a time and work very well! supplement with a now manageable ice maker supply and its going to be colder than yo need! 4 bottles is great.
So, to say, this IS really a 5 star machine, just some of the "ancillaries" were weak or not well outlined.
I'm working on a rechargeable 6 volt power source for ours myself.
Simple device. Highly recommended to buy the IC version with the compressor built in. I’ve last 6+ hours and the knee cuff significantly lowers pain, but check with your doc before using it as cold therapy is not always recommended. This device allowed me to stop pain meds within a weeks after knee replacement.
Love love love these ice packs after my spinal fusion and laminectomy. The pillows stay cold for SEVERAL hours even in hot weather. This morning I packed one set in a bag for travel and when I unpacked it 10 hours later it was still a little cold!! Nothing else works like these do.
These little baggies work great and the ziplock is strong enough to keep all the water in.

I bought an Ossur 7 years ago for my knee surgery. Worked ok. Got it out for my wife's knee surgery and all the hoses leaked. Bought Breg with the freezer bags. So convenient and easy to use over and over. Stretch straps attached on one side to the knee pad are also way easier to use
I borrowed a friend's machine during my rehab of a knee revision. It worked so well that I bought one for myself. My husband is having knee issues and we thought it would serve us for many years to come. I am telling everyone about the unit. It has helped so much. Thank you for a great product.
I purchased this model for Total Hip Replacement and it worked perfectly. Had minimal swelling and relieved pain during recovery. Definitely would recommend this model because of the addition of compression with the cold therapy. I love that I can control both options with or turn one option off completely while still using the other. Very well thought out. Decently quiet; both my husband and I could sleep comfortably with it on. I purchased the knee pad because I now need Knee replacement and this is helping ahead of surgery (3 months out) to reduce pain and swelling. A lifetime investment and worth every penny!!!
I had a total knee replacement surgery and used the IceMan every night for about 12 weeks post-surgery. It provided great pain relief overnight and allowed me to sleep through the night. Prior to surgery, local ice treatment (ice from freezer) did provide some relief from my chronic arthritic pain. For demographics - I am female, mid-50s, physically active prior to surgery. Required knee replacement due to extensive arthritis related to significant knee trauma post-accident when I was a young adult.
I First ordered the Breg Polar cube after shoulder replacement surgery, and it was a God send!! Ease of use, comfort, and ability to stay cold for long periods make this a game changer. Then my wife hurt her knee, so I ordered the knee attachment. I can not say enough good about this equipment. I highly recommend it for any cold therapy needed. They have several different attachments.

I had a Bregg cold therapy pump for a pervious shoulder repair . I just had my knee replaced and thought of the ice and cold pack use and looked at the availability of a knee attachment and bought it and it saves on ice purchasing to ice my knee twice a day and works incredible
I just had a double hip replacement and the Berg has been my best friend. I load it up with three frozen water bottles, then pack ice cubes in and add water. It is so soothing. My surgeon had recommended using frozen peas. I'm wondering what frozen pea company his family owns? I'd of gone through a truck load of peas by now. Highly recommend the Berg. It's a blessing. PS: Put it in a pan of some sort because condensation will get your carpet wet if it's setting on the floor. Love my Berg.
Received the power supply about 5 days after ordering. My 65lb Labradoodle destroyer the original one. Works great.
These straps seem to be better than the ones that came with my Donjoy classic three pad. They seem much more adorable. I’ve only had them for a few days now so I can only go on the quality that I feel at this point. I’d love to do an update after I’ve used them for a few weeks the original straps that I had that came with the ice machine. I’ve actually replaced twice.
