Which Breg Polar Care Pads and Parts Fit My Machine? A Complete Compatibility Guide

Quick answer: Breg Polar Care pads only fit machines in their own pad family. WrapOn pads and Polar Pads fit the Cube, Glacier, and Cub. Intelli-Flo pads fit the Kodiak only. Breg Cold Compression pads fit the Wave. Y adapters and extension tubes follow the same split, so match every part to your machine's name before you order.

Which Breg Polar Care machine do I have, and what fits it?
Look for the name printed on the cooler or lid. Then find your machine in this table.

If your cooler says Cube, Glacier, or Cub, you share one pad family. If it says Kodiak or Wave, each has its own pads and parts.
Why don't pads from one Breg machine fit another?
Each pad family uses its own hose connector. A WrapOn pad will not click into a Kodiak, and an Intelli-Flo pad will not click into a Cube. Breg states that Intelli-Flo pads are for the Kodiak only, and that WrapOn pads are for the Glacier, Cube, and Cub only.

Which pads fit the Cube, Glacier, and Cub?
These machines use two styles of pad. WrapOn pads have built-in elastic straps. Polar Pads have no straps, so you hold them in place with a compression strap or wrap.

The Kodiak uses Breg Intelli-Flo pads only. Cube, Glacier, and Wave pads will not connect.

Which pads fit the Polar Care Wave?
The Wave adds active compression, so it uses its own Breg Cold Compression pads. Each pad lists a fit range, so measure around the area before you order.

Which sterile dressing or skin barrier do I need?
Breg requires a barrier between every pad and your skin, on every machine. No part of the pad should touch bare skin.
- Over an incision: use the sterile dressing listed for your pad in the tables above. A dressing's name doesn't always match the pad. For example, the XL knee WrapOn pad uses the shoulder dressing because the sizes line up.
- No open incision: a non-sterile skin barrier works for daily use. We carry them for the Cube and Glacier and for the Kodiak. Don't use them over a fresh incision.

What replacement parts can I buy for my Polar Care machine?
- Power supply: Breg's current Cube and Kodiak pages list part 10798. Older Breg catalogs show 10698. Our replacement power supply fits the Cube, Glacier, and Kodiak. The Wave uses its own, part 100584-000.
- Kodiak battery pack (97050): runs on four AA batteries. Breg says it gives 10 to 14 hours of motorized cold therapy. Shop the battery pack
- Y adapters: run two pads at once. The Cube and Glacier Y adapter (07640) and the Kodiak Y adapter (10699) are not interchangeable. The Wave uses a knee Y adapter, 100576-000.
- 4 ft extension tube (09915): adds hose length for the Cube, Glacier, and Cub. It will not fit the Kodiak.
- Compression strap (10670): a 60" strap that holds a strapless Polar Pad or Intelli-Flo pad in place. It is not for Wave pads.
- Wave ice bags (100582-000): Breg's reusable ice bags for the Wave.
Cooler parts like lids, pumps, and gaskets are not listed as separate parts by Breg. If your cooler leaks or the pump stops, call us before buying anything so we can help you find the cause.

How do I make sure I'm ordering the right part?
- Read the machine name on the cooler or lid.
- Check the part number printed on your old pad's label, if you still have it.
- Compare your hose connector with the connector video.

Do Cube pads fit the Glacier?
Yes. Breg WrapOn pads and Polar Pads fit the Polar Care Glacier, Cube, and Cub.
Do Cube pads fit the Kodiak?
No. The Kodiak uses Intelli-Flo pads, which have a different connector.
Do Breg Wave pads fit the Cube or Kodiak?
No. Wave pads are Breg Cold Compression pads made for the Wave's compression system.
Which pads don't fit the Polar Care Cub?
Breg lists the WrapOn ankle pad (04730) and the Polar Pad ankle (02500) as not compatible with the Cub.
Can I run two pads at the same time?
Yes, with the Y adapter made for your machine: 07640 for the Cube and Glacier, 10699 for the Kodiak, or 100576-000 for the Wave knee.
Do I need a prescription to buy Breg pads and parts?
My Cold Therapy requires a valid prescription with orders for Breg products. Breg also limits these devices to sale by or on the order of a licensed healthcare provider.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Cold therapy products at My Cold Therapy are HSA and FSA eligible. Check with your plan administrator if you're unsure.
Can I return a pad if I order the wrong one?
Cold therapy pads and opened sterile dressings can't be returned. Pads are covered by the manufacturer's warranty for defects. See our return policy, and contact us before you order so we can confirm the right part.
